Golden Bridge is Waking Up

In Creoda, there is a popular children's song commonly known as "Golden Bridge is Waking Up". It is based on the creation of the Aurelian Bridge in Lifworðig by the Clarati sorcerer Illustrata.   There are many verses and versions of this song, but here is one of the most common variations.
Golden Bridge is waking up,
Waking up, Waking up,
Golden Bridge is waking up,
Illustrata

Make a Bridge to cross the Llif
Cross the Llif, Cross the Llif
Make a Bridge to cross the Llif,
Illustrata

Build the Bridge of Gold and Stone,
Gold and Stone, Gold and Stone,
Build the Bridge of Gold and Stone,
Illustrata

Craft a god to be the Bridge,
Be the Bridge, Be the Bridge,
Craft a god to be the Bridge,
Illustrata

Feed the god with foreign stones,
Foreign Stones, Foreign Stones,
Feed the god with foreign stones,
Illustrata

Golden Bridge is watching us,
Watching us, Watching us,
Golden Bridge is watching us,
Illustrata

One of the most common variations of the song excludes the name 'Illustrata', substituting a number of phrases instead, usually a different phrase for each verse. For example, this is a variant verse found in eastern Creoda:
Feed the Bridge with four-inch stones,
Four-inch stones, Four-inch stones,
Feed the Bridge with four-inch stones,
Does it like them?

Other variations include substituting 'Flood' for 'Llif', or adding a verse at the end that the Golden Bridge has 'Woken up'. Cataloguing all the verses and minor variations would be a work of years, and probably need to be repeated as soon as it was complete.   Some people report that when the song is sung on the Bridge itself, the golden mortar holding the stones together tends to pulse with the rhythm, and merchants on the bridge generally agree that the bridge seems pleased by the song.
