Æthelstan
Crown Prince of Bernicia
Æthelstan is the eldest son of King Beornric the Shrewd and the Crown Prince of Bernicia. He has served his father in many roles over the years, and currently serves in Dunwulf as the King's right hand. Much of the day-to-day business of the kingdom is his responsibility, and he holds the title of Mundschenk. This title literally translates as "Cupbearer", but in practice means he is the most trusted of the king's servants who speaks with his authority at all times.
