Gozothistan

The Khanate of Gozothistan in the Iothuan Territories.

Founded in 1417, Gozothistan was named after the General Gozo Enebish. Forming the capital city of Zuunkhorin, Gozo decided it would be best that his lessers would go out and create their own clans and report on the state of the lands that are now Gozothistan. Ensuring this with a decree now named the The Great Lands of Gozothistan, Khan Gozo allowed sections of his army to become their own clans and continue to rule over the lands of Gozothistan. The clans were to pay taxes to the capital city of Zuunkhorin yearly with gold, metallurgic materials, and 5 of their best soldiers. Clans all over Gozothistan have been established over the ruling time of Gozo Enebish and into the time of Khan Daritai after Khan Gozo's passing in 1426.   Little else is known about Gozothistan. Though the population is estimated between 799,000 and 807,000 much of the cultures have no known information in most scholarly texts outside of Gozothistan. Many scholars believe that there is an untold thousands of clans that disappeared from the face of Gozothistan because of this lack of written history, though clans keep oral history of their wars, festivals, and other cultural practices.
The lands of Gozothistan are split up into Clan territories. There are hundreds of clans within each territory, with one being a dependency under Ibakha. These clans are listed within the main territories they are considered under. The list below describes these, but at the current year is not an exhaustive list as territorial skirmishes makes taking census and anthropological research difficult.
