Plakar Niranes

Entering the central keep of the Sea Fort, you quickly see two figures talking loudly. Or, more accurately, one figure is half-yelling at another while resting his hand on the table. You recognize the ornate armour of an Imperial Army Captain on the person being yelled at, and you recognize as well the golden-trimmed robes of a Head Magistrate on the yelling man.
The yelling man's hair is kept in several small and poorly-made braids, as his hair is way too short for them. His robes hang loosely off him, and he is wearing some grey trousers underneath them. As he finishes his argument and notices your group's arrival, he immediately starts fussing with the silver rings on his hands.

General Physical Condition

After years of hunched reading and balancing books, Plakar has some back problems and isn't nearly as strong or agile as we was in his youth.

Apparel & Accessories

He often wears the ceremonial robes of his station as Head Magistrate, which are a dark blue with a golden trim along the sleeves and down the centre. Underneath, he wears common trousers and a belt. Several rings adorn his fingers, and he rubs them often when he gets nervous or angry.

Like all who have taken the post of Head Magistrate, Plakar has studied a large amount of law and is very knowledgeable about regulations and Imperial history.

He has a very mathematical and scientific mind, focusing on the hard, cold facts of life and the bare necessities of existence.

In essence, Plakar is focused on the idea of quid pro quo, and he is only interested in ventures that will benefit him. As an example, he doesn't understand everyone's willingness to reward people with gifts, seeing it only as a waste of the Empire's hard-earned tax revenue.

If there's one thing that you can count on Plakar Niranes doing, it's keeping his wealth growing and stockpiled. He seems to only be interested in hoarding money and keeping it walled up in his treasury. Very few like him as a result.

He dislikes having to spend money when it won't necessarily benefit him directly.

He hates beggars and the poor, as he often has to spend money to keep them from dying when they, in his eyes, provide nothing in return.
