Summary

'Device' is a broad term for any Relic which serves a distinct purpose. Examples include weapons, tools, and gadgets; they allow a user to complete tasks that would otherwise be impossible without the aid of an implement. The most common varieties of Devices are tools and weapons, though the former is more abundant still. Tools can be used in everyday life, even for the most mundane of tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and other household chores. Gadgets tend towards more eccentric purposes, and many are not well understood. Weapons are fairly self-explanatory, though they very unlike the weapons crafted in modern times despite many similarities.
