Druzir
Druzir Erispar, the cunning Wizard-Warrior of Calimshan. Consort to the "Rose Dragon" and general in her army. Born in -1101 DR to a woman who claimed his father was a Genasi hero. He was notable in his size (for a Wizard) and his magical crown made of iron. He carried lances, spears and even a two-handed great sword for a time, wielding them with the same skill as his impressive array of combat magic. He was attended by several powerful and strange creatures on his conquests, including a two-headed dragon, a notoriously nasty Derro, and a black unicorn.
Driven by devotion to the Rose Dragon, and an unswerving belief that his was the superior tactical and strategic mind, he attempted to overcome a grand Treant Druid and his legion. The creature, known as Elmcrown, would be Druzir's undoing. In a drawn out battle that lasted several days, Druzir and his company of strange followers engaged in skirmishes and full on battles with the Treant and the inhabitants of the Iron Timber. After failing to overcome Elmcrown completely in a final pitched battle, Druzir fell to the ground and was cast into a state of undeath. The Iron Timber became his prison, and his stolen magical book became his key to break free. But this magical book - Druzir's spellbook - was then stolen, and subsequently taken and hidden by the dying Treant, leaving Druzir formless, powerless and seething with hatred.
