Colony 2

Second colony established on Planet 237-121 after the success of Colony 1 . It was established further away from the first and thus was spared the initial outbreak of Fungal Disease, but is not safe as the disease continues to spread across the planet's surface.   One of the major settings of the unnamed second story.   This second colony brought with it many of the families whose loved ones went first to establish Colony 1. As part of the second wave there's more infrastructure in place to provide a more comfortable living on the previously uninhabited planet. The purpose of the second colony, in addition to reuniting families, was to begin large-scale agriculture. This was meant to be the beginning of normal habitation for the inhabitants.   After Colony 1 was overrun, a quarantine was placed on the planet, in addition to losing contact with the people and resources in that first settlement. This put a huge strain on the colony, both in terms of resources as the deterioration of morale. Now the entire colony is focused on finding a cure for the plague and halting the growth of the fungal forests that erupted around the ruins of Colony 1.   Unnamed Protagonist came to the planet with their family to settle on Colony 2, but after the outbreak ran away.

Demographics

Guilds and Factions

First there is the robot-led local government trying to maintain order and control of the colony amid the panic caused by the plague   There is a large faction of conspiracy theorists who fear they've been put on the planet to die fighting the government and others they see as complicit in an attempt to save themselves.
