The Floats
The Floats gets its name from its foundation - a collection of wooden platforms floating in the Sunrise Lake. The only structure on the shore is a lone wizard tower that overlooks the city below. Originally intended as an experiment to uplift so-called "lower" forms of life, The Floats houses a large community of relatively intelligent Bullywugs. The wizard themselves has only recently returned after having been absent for around 400 years. Though the Bullywugs had organised their own governance, with the return of the wizard it is now ruled by a council comprisoed of the old king of the Bullywugs, the leader of their Goblin slaves, and the wizard Knuc himself. Most people tend to avoid the place, and the Bullywugs largely keep to themselves.
General Information
Population: ~1200 (95% Bullywug, 5% other) Government: The Floats was ruled by Bullyboss Amazius the Fat, Master of the Muck. After the return of the wizard Knuc, the government has been changed to a council comprised of Knuc, Amazius and Bolx. Defense: Bullywugs are fiercely territorial creatures. They regularly patrol both the land and waters surrounding their settlement. Recently, Knuc has started improving their defenses. Commerce: As an isolated community, commerce happens mostly between those that live in the settlement. The Floats does not use the common currency, relying instead on favors. Organizations: The Floats houses none of the organizations you would find anywhere else on the continent, but is home to a few unique ones. The Bullywugs have their own royal court and their own religion.
