Mercury Luxord-Vlatson
Born with his twin sister Sona as heirs to Fortune Networks, Mercury has been generally aloof to the family's expectations. He always identified more with "fun" parts of the family as assassins . Always close with his sister, and also often taken care of by their great uncle Lambert Wilks and Lady Morgana; and spending much of their childhoods with Legato (who is one of the only people besides his sister that he is willing to open up to), Serenade, and the rest of the Littlefoot litter adopted by Lambert and Morgana.
Mercury has always been the cunning, ambitious, physically capable one of the twins. The high expectations of his lineage has been something he has mildly railed against, wanting to forge his own path in life.
The family often stayed with Aien Yinvyre to learn about Fortune Networks and eventually to assist with the establishment of Crow's Fort, and soon after got involved with investigating his disappearance.
It had come to be found after he returned that during Aien's training of his grandchildren Mercury Luxord-Vlatson and Sona Luxord-Vlatson, Mercury tricked him and had him held in the underground of a reconstructed Crow's Fort so that he could have access to Fortune Networks technology. What the young man didn't expect, however, were vampires hiding in the old tunnels that led to the man's demise.
Mercury continued to act strangely as it became increasingly aware that he had become an agent of the Deep. The The Heroes of Crow's Fort eventually cornered and killed him, revealing he was a conduit for the Deep to enter the world, with his violent death part of the necessary events to start the end of the world.
