Born in Haven she exhibited a strange affinity for Time magic from an early age, oftentimes as a toddler her parents would notice her somewhere she shouldn't be just a split second before she was somewhere else entirely in the house. She would eventually hone these skills to appear lightning fast in fights, a talent she often used to her advantage for monetary gain.
Those skills led to her making a name for herself as the "Emerald Warrior" but also led to her overconfidence. She made some secretive deals involving a shady group placing large bets on her against much bigger name opponents. Her luck caught up with her and those connected to her lost a large amount of money. As a way to try and get out of trouble, she bet everything she had on one more fight to try and pay it off. Unfortunately this fight was against Tommy Ray Handley, who using the same magic cheats as her, won the fight.
Needing to escape from the people after her, she convinced the The Heroes of Crow's Fort to allow her on their ship. She went back with them to Crow's Fort and connected with Dagoruk the Mindflayer disguised as Aien Yinvyre. Wanting to ensure her safety from the people after her back in Bastion, she quickly gravitated to the power Dagoruk held.
It wasn't long before she discovered his identity as a Mindflayer, as she by custom wore a headband with a Dimeritium band inside it whenever she wasn't in a fight that was given to her by her mother as a ward against the dangerous magical monsters around Bastion. She made the decision to keep his identity a secret both for her own safety and to be able to make use of his influence.
When he was found out by the The Heroes of Crow's Fort, she left with them in fear of retribution. She quickly fell out with the group over her not sharing her previous knowledge and left when they stopped at Tortuga to go her own way.
Secretly she was bearing the son of the mindflayer, Tommy Ray Handley. The heroes sent her back in time to help fix the breaking timeline where she would raise her son to be able to make use of his bloodline's influence.
