What is The Cosmic Notebook?

"The notes behind the notes. The story behind the story."

Welcome, curious soul.

You’ve stumbled into The Cosmic Notebook—a collection of ramblings, half-formed ideas, narrative misfires, and suspiciously detailed plot threads that were absolutely not meant to be final. This is where the real work happens. Or unravels. Or mutates into something far stranger than intended.

Some of these thoughts will become full articles.
Some will get quietly forgotten.
Some will fester in a corner until they kick the door down screaming for attention.
A few already have.

Like The Last Home.
Which began as a side project. A little fun, a break from big-world burnout.
It was born of my love for anime, Dungeons & Dragons, and Terry Pratchett—an alliance that probably shouldn’t exist, and yet here we are. Sometimes I have bad ideas that turn into good ones. Other times… well. Let’s not talk about those.

This section contains spoilers.
Not the soft, whispery kind. The real ones.
This is where the secrets live—the stuff I don’t intend to reveal in the main articles. Hidden truths. Meta-lore. The bones and scribbles beneath the setting. The sort of content that characters should never find, and readers maybe shouldn’t either.

But I want to share it anyway.

Because The Last Home isn’t just a setting—it’s also a reflection of how I worldbuild. It’s the messy bits. The brainstorming. The stuff I wrote down at 2am thinking “this might work”, and sometimes, “oh gods, what have I done?”
(Carmella Ravenshroud, probably. Moments before something exploded.)

It’s where the weird and wonderful begins, before it’s cleaned up and served at the bar with a dramatic backstory.

So read on, if you dare. Just remember: once you’ve seen the threads behind the tapestry, you can’t unsee them.

Some doors were never meant to be opened.
This entire notebook is full of them.
