The Last Druid

The Southlanders were a mighty kingdom that initially colonized the Brightlands, then known as the Northland. Their goal was to harvest the Brightlands of its natural resources. Upon gaining its independence from the Southland, the Northland built Penumbra city to protect its border. The Southland became too consumed with war on its other borders to reclaim the Northland.   Years later, after the Druids appeared, came the Warlocks. The Warlocks became another threat on the resources of the Brightlands and opposed the Druids directly. War broke out and ravaged the land. Through the efforts of the King of that time, Wizardry was discovered. With the combined might of Wizards and Druids, the Warlocks were banished from the Brightlands and Penumbra City became home to a powerful barrier magic that kept the Warlocks away. The Warlocks would go on to conquer the Southlands changing it into the Drylands.
