General Shops
In the center of the
Heliomea shopping district lays a collection of general stores. These include potion shops, tailers, food stances, a smith, and even a shop specializing in adventuring equipment.
Artificer
The Artificer is a rather unique shop run by an
Icara named Orphus. This engineer is able to enhance any equipment. The artificer can augment any weapon or enchant it with an elemental bonus. Armor can be improved up to three times. Each augmentation of a piece of armor will provide extra defense for a certain damage type. Defensive augmentations can be stacked.

Orphus is a typical energetic, workaholic engineer, complete with grease stains and all. He is always willing to work on another project with joy, yet he grows serious rather quickly when it comes to any limitations.
Grant Jewelry
The grand jewelry is run by two Icara called Hippodoris and Aradea. They are expert jewel crafters and produce such fine jewelry that even the greatest crafters of the empire would be amazed. Although their works do normally not provide any benefit, due to the magic compatibility of the jewelry the pair of jewelers are able to enchant their products with any spell that the customer wishes. This is an expansive process, but that should be worth it given the great range of spells that can be applied. Exact prices will have to be negotiated depending on the enchantment.
Hippodoris and Aradea are a pair of close friends, having run the shop for a long time together. Aradea is the more energetic and eager type, often getting up close with the customers trying to recommend them specific wears. She is the one who does the enchanting, being the one to mention the service to new customers whenever she gets the chance. Hippodoris on the other hand is far more down-to-earth and collected. He is a typical salesperson, calmly giving advice to customers.
