Gilbert Boarhead

The captain of the guard in Hazegate is Gilbert Boarhead; a stubborn man, but a good leader. Captain Boarhead is often described as boorish for his simple manners of dealing with conflicts, however, his determination does often yield result which is something he is respected for. The man has been serving as commander of the garrison for about 10 years now, being promoted to the post after the previous captain fell off the wall while drunk. Despite this incident, Gilbert still likes to chug down a good sizing of ale when off duty, so much so that he has become a frequent patron of  Arcon's Hub. Captain Boarhead takes his job of protecting the people of the city very seriously, making sure that none come to harm’s way under his watch. This strong sense of duty, however, has left him in an argument with the head of The Hunting Brigade, as Captain Boarhead refuses to send out men to aid the hunters. This action is due to a fear that a horde of demons will attack the city.
Captain Boarhead can scarcely ever be seen wearing something else than his armor which consist of a plate male on top of strong leather accompanied by an iron helmet. He has short-cut blond hair and a thick mustache that wraps around the top of his mouth. He has thick eyebrows and a rough face. He looks somewhat like an old bear, which gives him a mean look. However, once you talk to him he usually cracks a smile making him look farm more welcoming.
