Divine Mercury Sprite
Divine Mercury Sprites are slim, generally non-threatening, elementals made out of the rare metal-like liquid known as divine mercury. They are occasionally found in structures made by the ancient Hippodean gods, one of the few places where divine mercury can be found. These sprites are often passive creatures that only strike out at creatures if some divine will instruct them. Their liquid bodies flow slowly, hardly being affected by changes in temperature or moisture. This comes with the drawback of the creatures being slow as well, despite their lean form. Some Divine Mercury Sprites receive a blessing, causing them to take on a more humanoid. Blessed elementals are more powerful and possess a sharper mind.
Divine Mercury Sprites that have received a blessing from a deity or other divine creature grow more humanoid, often taking on the shape of a young woman. The blessing increases their stats. Additionally, they gain the following actions:
Traits
- Amorphous: The elemental can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there. It can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
- Seeping: The elemental can burrow through nonmagical unworked earth and stone. While doing so, the elemental doesn't disturb the material it moves through.
- Cold Resistance: The elemental cannot be frozen by any spell below 4th level. When frozen, the elemental's speed and dexterity score are halved.

- Whip: Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) radiant damage.
Blessed Version
Divine Mercury Sprites that have received a blessing from a deity or other divine creature grow more humanoid, often taking on the shape of a young woman. The blessing increases their stats. Additionally, they gain the following actions:
- Multiattack: The elemental makes two Whip attacks.
- Whip: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 10 (3d6) radiant damage.
- Mesmerize (once a day): The elemental alters the composition of its body, reflecting mesmerizing patterns as if the elemental is casting the spell Mesmerize. The DC for this ability is 14.
