Arcon the Traveler

Arcon the Traveler is the deity of commerce and trade, but also of travels and adventure in general. All means of transportation and material exchange fall within his domain. Due to his importance, he has a minor shrine in many temples and is occasionally worshiped as the main god of a settlement or region, such as in the city of Hazegate.

Worship

Arcon is mainly worshipped by travelers and merchants. Those who wish to pray for the well-being of family or friends who are on a journey can pay a visit to one of Arcon's altars as well. Offerings to the god are usually made in coin and weathered adventuring gear. The idea behind offering equipment or other items that have been brought on journeys is due to the story these items supposedly carry with them. When offering them to Arcon, you offer the story of your adventures to him.

Appearance

Arcon is displayed as a hooded male wearing a cloak. He carries a sizable coin purse with him as well as a sword on his hip. Additionally, he has a bag hanging over his shoulder and he holds a staff. It is notable that he is almost always displayed from behind as if leaving on a journey. On occasion he is displayed looking over his shoulder, however, his hood tends to hide most of his facial features. It is not unusual for him to be paired with a leashed horse, which he leads away.
