These incredibly dense stone spheres are visibly aglow with enchantments long forgotten to mortal races. The inner workings are lost to time, but the effect is to completely dominate any dragon within 5 miles of the user, provided they can match wills with the beast.
Significance
These spheres are the artifacts that decided the Elven-Draconic war. The spheres were the keys that allowed the outnumbered and out powered elves to cow the dragons and carve vast swathes of land out for their own realms and empires.
