Zeta Pyxidis
Zeta Pyxidis is a wide binary star system in the southern Earth constellation of Pyxis. It is visible to the naked eye. It is approximately 236 light years from earth.
The yellow-hued primary, component A, is an evolved G-type giant star. The primary star has nearly double the mass of the Sun and is radiating 69 times the Sun's luminosity from its photosphere.
The companion, component B, a dimmer star that is much smaller and dimmer than the main star.
