Tabit

Tabit is a yellow-white type F star. 1.3 times the mass of Sol. There is one rocky planet Tabit b. The atmosphere of Tabit b is not just toxic, but corrosive, and even has some acidic qualities. The other planets are a ringed gas giant called Tabit c, and the other is an ice giant called Tabit d. There are 2 large asteroid fields that made this system worth settling. A large space station orbiting Tabit b holds over 150,000 people. There are few businesses, though a Zenimart has most things in stock. Tabit d has a smaller space station orbiting it. The station extracts Helium-3 and hydrogen from the planet for use as fuel. It also is able to more significant repairs on starships.

Natural Resources

Dilithium, copper, gold, sodium, and titanium are common in the system.

History

Discovered mid 2nd century NER, Tabit was found to be quite rich in resources and a mining outpost was founded here. Construction of the station that orbits Tabit b was finished only 46 years ago.
