Europa Station
Europa Station orbits as close to Europa as it safely can. The station is primarily an ice mining facility.
Vapor collection along the equator where the ice sublimates, by stationary equipment can collect up to 1,000 liters per day. At higher and lower degrees of latitude, large robotic drones are used to break up the ice. Then pilots collect the broken ice chunks using large robotic arms and place them in a storage bay for later processing. These resources are used to supply the Ganymede Shipyards.
The station itself collects escaping hydrogen from the atmosphere and uses that to help power the station. Most of the station is built around processing the planetary hydrogen and the ice that it mines. After link-up the top levels of the station, above the docking ring, have been retrofitted to include short-term guest quarters, and a mercantile section offering basic supplies and weapons.
Demographics
The permanent population is primarily human. Though a few Yetis and Canopans, both being well-suited to physical labor, call the station home.
