Deities
The gods are ancient, far more ancient than anyone can remember to be certain. There are no real canon lore of the world creation, as well as the birth of the gods. For this reason, the fact that the gods are older than time is mostly just accepted as fact.
The gods can be divided into two categories; the ones that form the core of The Divine Precept, and the "Dark gods" or "Unyielding gods". Deities that chose not to step in to aid mortal life when the great gods-war was fought.
The general existence of the gods is indisputable, and while many mortals choose not to actively pray in their day to day life, its seldom to find anyone whom does not acknowledge the power and influence of the gods.
Particularly powerful entities, such as elemental titans, high-lords of the archfey and fiendish princes have been known to utilize powers resembling divine magic, though they only appear able to utilize such magic in their strongest servants.
The Divine Precept
The gods of the Divine Precept are generally the gods found worshipped in civilized parts of the world, as they all represent aspects of the world that are important to the prosperity of all living things. These great powers are known under countless names in different lands, and are worshipped in many varying ways, but most agree that this is simply a matter of facets of the greater whole that is a god.- Avandhra : Lady luck

The Unyielding Gods
These gods are far less prominent than the gods of the Precept, but remain powerful enough to retain their divinity all the same. While the Order of imperial inqusitors would claim these entities are evil in nature, and their worship dangerous at best, they are not malicious by default (though many are), but simply the ones that did not partake in the events of the gods-war.- Asmodeus: The Master of Chains
