Human
Humans are not a particularly remarkable race compared to the other civilized races of Jorden. However, this is mainly what drives them to achieve great things. None of the human-dominated nations are as technologically advanced as Drenora, but humans have nevertheless made a great deal of accomplishments themselves, with the military of Tenka being the most effective and well-disciplined fighting force in the entire Klustraa System, and two of the three great empires of Jorden being human-dominated. These are, of course, not the only great things humans have accomplished, but fine examples.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Humans are evolutionarily descended from apes, and have similar features. They have eyes on the front of their head, a mouth capable of forming a diverse array of sounds for communication, no tail and four limbs. They walk upright on two limbs, with hands on their upper limbs that have opposable thumbs. They have a medium build, not being very stocky or skinny, and have a normal amount of muscle for moving themselves and other objects.
Genetics and Reproduction
Humans are mammals, and therefore reproduce via sexual intercourse between a male and a female, at which point the offspring will form within the female over the course of a little under 8 months, after which the offspring will be born. Humans generally only give birth to one baby at a time, though twins are not unheard of.
Growth Rate & Stages
Humans are considered to be infants until around 1 1/2 eoks old, or 3 years. They are then considered to be in their childhood phase until 6 eoks, or 12 years. They are then considered to be adolescents until they are 10 eoks, or 20 years, old, at which point they are considered adults. Most humans become physically capable of reproduction at the age of 7 eoks, but their bodies don't become fully prepared for it until 8 or 9 eoks.
Adult humans are considered to be middle-aged at 20 eoks, and the age at which they die is largely determined by where they live. Humans in less healthy societies will live less than 30 eoks, while those in healthier regions can live for over 40 eoks. The oldest known human to not have their age affected by magic or psionics lived in the Empire of Drenora, and passed away at the age of 57 eoks.
Ecology and Habitats
Humans can take on most climates simply by dressing differently, wearing thicker clothing in colder and/or windier regions, and lighter clothing in places that receive more direct sunlight. There are even some accounts of humans coexisting with Tabaxi on the islands of Laythe, or forming their own thriving societies in the ridiculously cold climates of Duna and Titanus.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Humans are omnivores and find it hard to get all the nutrients required to survive without a diverse array of plants and animals. They also have to cook meat in order to be able to eat it, as their metabolism lacks certain components required to safely process raw meat. Humans have become skilled at using their construction abilities to store their food in cold places, which makes it last much longer.
Biological Cycle
Humans generally have a slower metabolism at colder times of year, so as to account for the decline of most food supplies. They also gradually become weaker, with certain parts of their bodies failing completely, as they approach their maximum age.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Humans have incredible eyesight, as do most civilized races, and rely mainly on their vision to perceive the world around them, followed closely by hearing. They have five main senses: sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing, and do not naturally possess any special extrasensory abilities. Humans are, however, very adaptable, and can gain such senses through practice and/or tools.
