Woolsday

Woolsday is the largest town on the island of Great Eye. Primarily a fishing and port-town on Murk Bay, it is best known as the nesting location of the Blacksun Defiance. Currently, House Tame rules over Great Eye with their seat in a keep just outside of Woolsday.
The town was built alongside the castle and home of House Ember, former Lords of Great Eye. Most of the houses and walls of old are no more, following the burning of Woolsday. After Lord Brandon Clefford defeated John Ember at sea, he sacked the town with his forces and set it ablaze. The wooden docks and taverns burned for days as House Ember faced its extinction.
The houses built after the incident resemble the old ones in size and architecture, with the notable difference. Most of them have hard stone walls. The Tames have seen to it that their homeland is well looked after, a great sight for both their people and the kind lords in Moss Den.
