Loyal Clan Echen
Chosen by House Antyre to serve as their primary intermediaries between Banteavan nobility and the Untamed Clans, Loyal Clan Echen have served House Antyre faithfully for generation in exchange for wealth and iron. Ruling from Echen Crag , Loyal Clan Echen are descended from the first war chiefs who settled the Barony of Echen and Stolmark , and act as wardens of the far northern highlands to this day. As a result of their service, House Antyre takes a hands-off approach to the clans in the northernmost reaches of their territory, allowing for greater autonomy that has lead to the Antari culture surviving and thriving.
Culture
Loyal Clan Echen primarily follow the ways of the Antari Clans, but know enough of Banteavan culture to observe the proper rites and customs if necessary. It is rare to see their retinue south of Farran, so their exposure to Banteavan court politics is slim to none.
