Eldest daughter of Artigan Dillestone and Wenda Ashton. Knight of the Calistan Order. Born 1415. Became a knight in 1433. Fought in the Tambar Rebellion.
Talented, Lonely, Honourable. Spared the lives of Tambar rebels captured in battle, which earned her the moniker of The Merciful. A graduate of the War College and a regular competitor at tournaments, Katrin is a constant presence at court and around Banteave but admits very few into her circle of confidence.
However, some have begun to whisper that her mercy shown towards the Tambarists is tantamount to siding with them. Soren Sandoreale , a fellow knight who bore witness to her act of kindheartedness, has been quietly spreading rumours about her allegiances and fidelity to the Church and Crown. She knows that he'll be present at the tournaments for the midsummer festival, and she fully intends on confronting him in the tournament to challenge his slanderous words... at sword point, if need be.
