King Gradvum Frozenroar
King Gradvum Frozenroar has ruled the the Kingdom of Avalor for the last six years. A stoic man, Gradvum has been credited for stabilizing the monarchy that was tethering on the brink of collapse the years before he came to power. His marriage to Melmiri , the Warrior Princess of the Northern Desert tribes, helped solidify the Frozenroar family's rule of Avalor.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Gradvum is in great physical condition. He trains every morning as a swordsman with the Captain of his guard, as well as training with his wife Melmiri every night. He does not want to repeat the same mistakes of his father and is paranoid of being a king everyone see's as a pushover.
Apparel & Accessories
As per tradition Gradvum carries Lionsbane, the sword of the king. It is the sword of King Ryhnold passed down through generations. The elven made great sword bares a golden hilt with a metal inlay in the shape of a lions mouth. Along the blade itself are the words Arranaseer aul Reloseer (Elvish for Bravery in fear) etched into the metal. Through continued training, Gradvum is able to wield this mighty two handed weapon with a standard hold or a mighty one handed grip.

Motivation
Gradvum is the king the Kingdom has been waiting for many years. Young, smart, and quick witted. He is not content with just sitting on the throne and rule. The Queen and he enjoy traveling the kingdom to visit their people atop their Griffins. Gradvum makes it a point to join in battles with the far eastern barbarians when he can, much to the dismay of his advisors.
His ultimate goal however is to raise the status of his kingdom to be the most powerful on the continent of Tyr. He has poured money into modernizing his kingdom by constructing additional paved roads, pouring money into the upgrading the royal navy, and as well expanding the research projects from the Gnome acadamey at Jogar Village.

Hobbies & Pets
Gradvum's steed is a Griffin named Fis Uskeche (Elvish for Bright Flame) has been his mount and pet for the last twenty two years. He raised it from an infant and for the most part has not left Gradvum's side.
Gradvum practices archery as a hobby. He also enjoys music, especially songs about the legendary heroes. Every year when the kingdom congregates in Renada for the great Aegisir games, Gradvum enjoys the jousting and the gladiatorial combat part of the games.

Gradvum is fluent to Common, Elvish, Dwarvish, Gnomish, Draconian, and knows a bit of Underspeak, due to his time at the Royal Glav Academy.
