The Laws of The Keepers
- Wild Magick. While magick reigns supreme, there are traces of wild magick that roam the world, forming doorways to other worlds (the fae realm and the land of the gods). The doorways are often depicted by ancient runes and stone archways -- mainly crumbling. Very rarely are they void of any markings.
- Eldritch. Ancient beings of dark, twisted power that seek destruction. To most, these beings are long, long forgotten. But the phoenixes remember. They always remember.
- Godly Weapons. It is extremely rare to come across a legendary weapon made by a god. Only those blessed with the favor of the gods can access such weaponry and hope to use it to their advantage, especially against any ancient beings that attempt to come crawling from their corrupt dimension.
Cosmology
The first beings in the universe were the Eldritch beings, and then came the stars a few hundred years later, when elves began to appear in the material plane.
Principal Geography & Features
Floating islands circle above the Eruira Empire, high enough so that a Phoenix Rider or phoenix-touched must fly up to it. Ordinary people without wings cannot hope to get to the floating islands without help.
Ice volcanoes can be found down south, in Ia Allanar, where the land gets frigid with snow and ice. These volcanoes spew liquid ice so cold it causes severe frostbite by touching it. Liquid ice is different from freezing cold water; the ice emits foggy "steam" from it while being clear and sparkling, like icicles.
The Land of Dark Ichor is said to be the land of black phoenixes and phoenix-touched. It is a wasteland filled with harsh temperatures of heat and little to no sunlight. Harsh swamps are scattered about, filling the air with the putrid scent of acid and rotting flesh.
Initial Active Setting
The main focus of the world is continent of Ekari, but the story first takes place in Airedale City, the capital of the Xovaria Kingdom, and will lead to the north-eastern section of the continent to Ruglea, and then spread south into Asyan Alari Realm, the land of elves before going north to Eruira Empire, the land of phoenixes and phoenix-touched.
