The Sea of Tears
Port Ffirst and the Material components of Neuyeya both sit on the western shores of this vast sea, dividing the continents of Kantas and Joran. Islands dot these waters, and the sea is home to a vast array of peoples - merfolk, tritons, merrow, sahuagin all have a showing here. There are even rumours of a great Storm Giant living beneath the waves.
Dangerous waters, but as it opens out into the wider oceans, this forms the only non-magical passage to and from Faerûn and the rest of the world. The ships of the Dawnlands and K'ul Goran mix here, and trade is rapidly burgeoning.
