Jack

Jack, the fool of Queen Sarastra Aestruum, is an unusual character, even by Feywild standards. Jack is what is known as a hexadron - one of the highest tiers of Modron in existence. Jack has two spindly mechanical legs supporting a tombola-esque horizontal hexagonal cylinder. From each face of this metal body extends out a 15-foot long metal tentacle, rounded on one side and flat on the other. At the end of each tentacle, on the flat underside, is an eye, so that the experience of talking to Jack is one of trying to keep track of just how many eyes are looking at you at any one time as the tentacles move up and around you.   As the story goes, Jack was sent to Sarastra as an emissary, but due to a particularly poorly worded agreement, Jack found themselves bound to her service as a jester instead, as Queen Aestruum found their mechanical legal mind hilarious. The longer Jack stayed (and it has been centuries), the more their mind degraded and was corrupted by the chaotic influences of the Feywild. Jack is a capering fool in full now, though wrapped around an incredible intellect.   Learning from past mistakes, Jack managed to enter the Amaranthine Games through the loophole that they technically had a throne - a wooden one meant as a joke. Jack sought to become a Fey Noble, and thus gain their freedom. This rebellion did not succeed however, though several adventurers helped Jack along the way.   No one from the Dawnlands has seen Jack since the games ended, though reportedly Sarastra has her fool back.
