Klipten
Klipten is a small villiage nested in the Morkshen valley and rolling hills. It lies right next to the Kelori River.
Demographics
The population of Klipten is majority elves and humans, but there are a few dwarves, gnomes, and halflings dispered throughout.
Government
The city has a mayor, city council, and a judicial court. The mayor deals with much of the day to day running and has authority in all matters realating to policing. The city council makes the laws and has power to despose of the mayor. The court intreprets the laws when it comes time to trial.
Defences
The town is prodected by a volenteer guard. The base of the guard is the Tower on the Northern end of town. There are two guard houses at either end of the Klipten Bridge.
Industry & Trade
Most the inhabitants are employed in the production of grain that is then shipped down the Kelori river to Windale.
Infrastructure
Klipten holds two competeing taverns, the Pig's ale and the Iornden, located at the center of the town. Surrounding Klipten there are many farms and windmills for the production of grains. Klipten is also home to a watermill and a boat dock for sending grain down the Kelori River. There is a bridge leading out of Klipten on the southern end.
Districts
There are three main districts of Klipten. There are the Eastern farms, the Eastern housing, and the Western industrial district.
Points of interest
The point of intrest of Klipten lies outside of Klipten by about three miles. Three miles north of Klipten is Stone Row. Stone Row is an are a of stones in a perfect grid pattern.
Architecture
Klipten is made mostly of stone foundation floors with wooden upper stuctres or wooden only construction. Most wood in Klipten is painted a pastel color that brings some vibrancy to the villiage.
Geography
Klipten sits inside a valley and is surrounded by rolling hills. There are few sparse forests and the Kelori River. Off in the distance lies the Mountains of the Gali Range rising high above the valley.
Natural Resources
The main asset of Klipten is the grain in its fields. There are a few mines nearby that provide a small but steady trickle of iorn, copper, and other basic metals that the town uses.
