Session 3 - Freeing Klipten Report

When the heroes arrive at the mayor's house they take many different positions and hiding spots. Soon the two hooded figures arrive and go into the mayor's house. They begin talking about how people are onto them and they search the house almost finding one of the heroes but eventually leave. One of the hooded figures begins climbing the house but is pushed off and falls to the ground. The hooded figure breaks the clasp on their necklace muttering something the heroes can't hear and the other hooded figure runs away with half of the heroes in pursuit while the other half follow the mayor to Cline's house. Where they see the mayor holding a knife over an empty bed where Clines once laid. One of the heros takes a bribe and leaves while two others tie up the mayor. Meanwhile the other group lost the hooded figure and headed back to the in to check in on Cline. When they arrive, Cline is awake and tells him they need to head to his house. They run to Cline's house where they find the two other adventurers and a tied up mayor. Cline the dons his armor and tells them they need to go to a castle right that moment the adventurers decide to get horses and go the next day and meet up with there slightly wealthier companion back at the inn they rest and leave the next day while leaving town they acquire two healing potions a new dagger necklace and lute. After about six hours of riding in the forest they see the castle. One of them approaches but is shot at but the hero's soon retaliate and catapulte up the wall quickly dispatching the guards. They use the same tactics to try and get into the main building while Cline investigates suspicious looking barrels. The adventurers break into the second floor and see Rebecca tied with a priest holding a knife to her neck. The adventurers get into a fight with the cult members and win, saving rebecca.
