Troll bridge

The old stone bridge. All of the great statues once decorating the kings road were reduced to rubble. The bridge is broken and the only way across is a small boat at its base. The rapid flow of the river does not allow other ways of transport. Dark creatures cover in the shadows of piers and are ready to snatch unlucky souls traveling here. Be sure to pay your guides properly.

Masive white stone blocks making up the three large piers of the bridge are visible even in bad weather from a considerable distance.

History

The great bridge of the Kings road was a marvel in modern world. Allowing garrisons of Northern stars to comute back and forth to the Stork's fort. Carrying letters and orders up and down. The decorative statues of lord conquerors depicting the giant monsters they slew were set up on both sides of the bridge and toll booths were situated on both ends of the bridge as it was the only way to cross the river Edge at the time.
