Soul Harvest Moon

Over the last few months a new moon has risen into the night sky. Once hidden from sight, with each passing night it now grows brighter and stronger. The moon has waxed for months, growing ever larger in fullness and a deeper shade of red. It is now in the final few nights before it reaches its zenith of a full moon, that the power that this moon is finally revealed.
Howls of spirits from distant days seem to cry out in unison as this moon rises into the darkened night and the sea of souls swells in a palpable feeling of unrest and mourning. Anyone with a sense for souls can feel the night air thick with spiritual energies, the drifting of wayward souls with no where to find their final resting place and unable to seek out the realm of Shyish.
Unclaimed souls attract the attention of many though, those driven by hunger, survival or greed. Lasair the Everburning leads his forces of Arcknight to the Mountain of Moirai where the moon drifts closest to the ground, hoping to claim the souls for the Stormcast of Harmonia.
Of course, he is not the only one seeking to claim the wayward souls, for the leaders of the Kra'Mor empire require spirits in their army's ranks. The nighthaunts will fight fervently to take the souls that they believe are theirs by right, and they will prove their claim by reaping the souls of any who would oppose them.
