Public Agenda
The Empire’s sole goal is to rule the galaxy (after all- why would you not want to join the Empire?) and it is primarily focused on expansion.
History
When the Terran Republic fleet disappeared during the Auch Incursion, the Skraw took the opportunity to purge the humans from the galaxy and began attacking the trailing edge of the Terran Republic. This caused the collapse of the Terran Republic, especially after the Skraw took and purged the Sol system and Terra. A Terran admiral on the industrial/garrison world of Urbia took control of the planet and organized an effective defense against the Skraw. However, due to Skraw's numerical superiority and better support, the Urbians were still hard pressed. When the Skraw unexpectedly stopped their advance, and retreated from purged worlds that did not already have sizeable Skrawsettlements, the Urbians consolidated their position and began to expand.
Territories
The Urbian Empire controls a little over a sector trailing the Interstellar League.
Military
Military service in the Urbian Empire is mandatory. During war time the Empire almost exclusively relies on its overwhelming military strength.
Technological Level
Technological Level 10 to 14. Border worlds tend to be lower tech levels than those close to the core of the Empire.
Foreign Relations
The empire only respects those who can stand against them. If they can’t, well they needed to be brought up to speed anyway.

Legislative Body
Urbian Senate, which is made up one representative from each world. This body can only propose and block legislation, however laws are only made by the Emperor of Urbia.

The Emperor of Urbia is responsible for executive functions in the Empire. Technically, the Emperor is a constitutional monarch, but the emphasis is on the Monarch, not necessarily the constitutional part.
