Faore, Golden Goddess Character in The Hylian Fantasy | World Anvil

Faore, Golden Goddess

With a single breath she gifted life unto the land...
The Goddess of Courage and Life, Faore is one of the Golden Gods that created the world. After her sisters Din and Nayru created the world and its natural laws, respectively, Faore created the creatures that would then follow those laws. Afterward, the three left, leaving behind their Golden Power and the Goddess Hylia to watch over their creation.   Since then, Faore has been one of the most active gods in the Hylian mythos, usually being the one to speak action into a champion that would bear her part of the Golden Power and fight to reset balance.

Divine Domains

A mostly passive diety of courageousness and life itself. Features pseudohistorically as a being that calls heroes to adventure.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

A common mark of Farore is known by many names: The Breath of the Gods, Faores Courage, or the Ripple. This former name most closely represents the meaning of Courageous acts, those things that make changes in others. Like the other Golden Gods, Faore's Mark is most commonly found etched in stone, but no evidence of her emblem predates the Unification War. This may be because wood carved versions of the Mark have deteriorated with time.
Other symbols associated with Faore include images depicting wind or plants. Common animals include the wolf and horse, as well as occasionally snakes or dragon iconography.
