Stefan's Tavern
Stefan's Tavern is the tavern located in the town Oceania. This tavern was made long ago by Esmeralda Aratois, but she was forced to change the name from what she had originally (Oceania's Tavern) when she married Stefan. He is Esmeralda's husband who tends to treat her terribly. He takes all the credit for the work, but Esmeralda is the one who puts her heart and soul into her work. She works as the tavernkeeper, chef, and innkeeper for the inn right above the tavern. She deals with a lot of stress, but is considered the Beacon of Oceania, since people come all the time, to enjoy her cooking, her drinks, and her personality! She is an amazing woman, and since her marriage with Stefan, he has been taking all the credit for the building, often taking the money she earns to use on gambling.
Purpose / Function
The purpose for this establishment is that Esmeralda wanted to make people happy and do what she loved. She loves what she does and appreciates all the patronage from her customers. She doesn't like how Stefan acts, however, often because he is ruining the reputation she has tried so hard to keep up. Her goal is to help people, provide enjoyment to people, and to make new friends and loyal customers.
Design
The dimensions of the tavern are incredibly big, fitting dozens of people to drink and entertain themselves. The building is made of solid dark wood, creating a darker atmosphere in the building, but it fits it very well. There is a kitchen in the back, as well as a storeroom and basement. There is also the large tavern upstairs, via a staircase to the side of the bar. The inn is very large, with multiple rooms.
Entries
There are two entries, as well as a fire escape from the inn in case of an emergency. There is an entrance in the front, leading into the actual tavern, and one leading from the kitchen into the alleyway.
Sensory & Appearance
As soon as you step into the tavern, you get overwhelmed with the smell of a home cooked meal, as well as a ton of alcohol. The building has a very homely feeling, having a happy atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The entire tavern is pleasantly warm as well, but there are often yelling and arguments when Stefan is around, kind of ruining the happy atmosphere that Esmeralda has tried so hard to create.
Denizens
Stefan and Esmeralda are the owners of the tavern, and there are many different customers that come in and drink, as it is a place that one would go to to have fun and drink and entertain their friends. Many MANY people come here to drink and see Esmeralda.
Contents & Furnishings
The entire tavern is comfortable, with seats that are very soft, that allow people to sit for hours without pain. There are also bar stools, but those have cushions that Esmeralda sewn herself, just to make it more comfortable. The kitchen has some chairs for Esmeralda, as well as multiple different features, like a fridge and a sink, you know, the stuff that a kitchen needs.
The inn, however, is incredibly nice and warm, with carpeting and lush beds. There are also painting that are on the wall in each room. There are many different colors in the rooms, but they are all very well furnished and comfortable.
Valuables
The tavern and inn have a lot of money coming into it. There are many different types of alcohol and food in as well. The furnishings are also valuable, being a main highlight of the visit.

Special Properties
Same with the Iron and Shite, the town of Oceania has the special properties that was said to have been bestowed by the Goddess herself. The tavern is also affected by that power.
Alterations
Originally, the tavern (before Esmeralda's marriage) was only a tavern, with a kitchen in the back and a store room, as well as a basement to store the alcohol. There was an alteration years into the businesses existence, which is when the inn was put upstairs, allowing more business for the town.
Architecture
The tavern and inn are all made of solid dark wood, creating a really homely feeling when you enter. It is elegantly crafted, and definitely sturdy.
History
After graduating from Daggerveil's tavernkeeper school, Esmeralda felt like starting her own business in the town she loves. She wanted to do the work she loved and earn a living while doing it. She loved meeting new people and this was the best way to do it.

Environmental Effects
The tavern doesn't affect the environment at all, other than in a good way, as Esmeralda gives the scraps to animals or those in need. The tavern also is the cause of the increase in customers, which increases the amount of travelers, and that effects the town.
