Principal Ennuel Nytfort
This tall, muscular breton man stands with purpose, his simple religious robes covering most of his body. His right torso is visible, however, revealing the Black Kraken Arbiter's mark on the back of his right shoulder. He has long, flowing brown hair and a perfectly trimmed layer of facial hair. No weapon can be seen on his person. He carries himself with a calm, calculating demeanor, his face difficult to read behind his stern eyes.
Ennuel Traerier Nytfort, known colloquially as Mr. Nytfort, is the principal of The School of Discipline , a small education and rehabilitation facility aimed at minors, located along the outskirts of Krakonia City . While technically anyone underage can enroll, it's generally only children that get sent there against their will that actually do so. It is essentially a juvenile corrections facility, Nytfort and his teachers emphasizing discipline to teach children how to behave and improve themselves for the real world. Despite its reputation, however, the school does have an accredited curriculum, it just educates its students under the framing of self-discipline, forcing long nights of study after long days of classes, exercise, and meditation, leaving little to no time to goof off or get into trouble. The teachers are known for being especially ruthless and no-nonsense, with little tolerance for shenanigans. Kids either quickly burn out, serving their time against their will until they are allowed to leave, or manage to develop impressive life skills, graduating with more skill and talent on average than students from more typical schools. It isn't abnormal for students who have finished their sentences to stick around anyway out of respect for Mr. Nytfort, a man that many view as a powerful, talented, and impressive rolemodel.
While he doesn't often talk about his past, much of his long history remains unobscured, with generations of students and adults alike talking about him. In a nutshell, Nytfort was one of the mortals dragged into Requerm during The Dawn , being a simple Breton from the Nirn plane of existence. He claims to have once been a Disciple of Julianos, training to one day become a moth priest, a unique cultist with the ability to read the legendary Elder Scroll, a myth that many Nirn natives have since talked about, some even suspecting the Dawn being influenced by one. Upon reaching Requerm, Nytfort decided to travel the new world on a pilgrimage, first suspecting that this was a test from Julianos himself, then believing it to be an opportunity to improve himself. After decades of traveling Requerm by himself, aiding those when necessary, Nytfort found a new calling in life, choosing to give up his ultimate goal of reading an Elder Scroll to instead monitor and educate the children of Requerm. He discovered that it was far more rewarding to watch the youth grow into educated, talented adults than it was to simply wait for an Elder Scroll to fall into his lap. Since Moth Priests give up their eyesight upon reading an Elder Scroll, Nytfort decided he preferred using his eyes to personally witness the fruits of his labor. He took everything that he had learned over the years and created the School of Discipline in what would later be known as Krakonia City, offering a home to any lost child willing to earn their keep. Some of these children became the first teachers of the school, Nytfort's influence growing large enough to be seen as more than a simple daycare for bad children. That's not to say bad children don't end up there. Nytfort treats all his students the same, regardless of their background. Show him respect, and he gives respect. Show him anything less, and that student will live to regret that decision. It is because of this that Krakonia's government has made the School of Discipline an official punishment for children tried for crimes against citizens in the city on the understanding that this sentence is for the criminal's own good.
If you look up "discipline" in the Krakonian dictionary, you'll find a picture of Ennuel Traerier Nytfort. The man is stoic and unyielding, able to suppress all emotion when the moment calls for it. Even in calmer moments, Mr. Nytfort remains quite neutral. Where an average man laughs wholeheartedly, he smirks. Where an average man cries their eyes out, he frowns. He leads by example, his position as the principal of The School of Discipline being his main motivator for such emotional suppression. His motives, however, are far away from neutral. He values the betterment of society by enriching the experiences of the next generation, and therefore is quite protective of Krakonia's children. He only hits them when they need to learn a lesson.
Ennuel Nytfort is one of the example character sheets provided in the player folder for the purposes of showcasing how the character sheet template is supposed to be used. He is intended to push the limits of the character sheet template as an example of how to juggle as many different parts of the template as possible, with multiple classes, including a variant multiclass, featuring both a class that prepares spells as well as a class that spontaneously casts spells, as well as a class that impacts regular physical attacks, and a VMC that additionally influences those attacks, fully completed with two mythic paths (courtesy of the Dual Path mythic feat) that includes mythic spells as part of the increasingly excessive calculations.
