This middle-aged, blonde vishkanya man wears a royal uniform, the kingdom's flag's design apparent on his light armor. It is rare to see him without some sort of container in his hand, either from serving a drink or cleaning the glass afterwards. While not typically visible to the naked eye, there are those who would know of his Black Kraken Arbiter's mark located on his chest. He often has an approachable smile on his face, genuine interest in his patrons stories evident from his many expressions.
Garth Splicer is the head bartender of The Hook , in charge of the kitchen as well as serving the many hungry and thirsty patrons in the establishment. It is a position of much prestige, as The Hook itself is a tavern owned directly by The Kingdom of Krakonia itself and serves as a symbol of everything the kingdom stands for. It is with that high level of regard that Garth takes care of the tavern, scrutinizing his employees to make sure they adhere to his strict codes of conduct as well as his advanced recipes for his patrons. He has earned a reputation as a man with a heart of gold buried beneath a mountain of salt, finding hilarious and creative ways to belittle his workers in front of the many patrons in the tavern with a smile on his face the entire time, as if he's always giving off some kind of performance. He rarely takes this attitude with his customers, although the occasional patron may find themselves a bit too pompous and demanding for his liking. He instead takes the time to listen to those who wish to get things off their chest, as any good bartender is wont to do, leading his employees by example. Because of this attitude, he has also become a bastion of knowledge about the various comings and goings throughout all of Krakonia City, especially in regards to juicy gossip and rumors. He does not divulge confidential information, but he is generally the person to talk to when looking for information of any kind, as he is likely to be able to point someone in the right direction, regardless of topic.
As head bartender of The Hook, Garth has earned an honorary position as a member of the AGK, regardless of the fact that he does not have any direct relation to the guilds actual day to day activities. He only has the title since he is the best at appeasing adventurers of all types as they come into The Hook to form parties and start quests, a task that would be difficult for other members of the AGK to pull off.
Garth made his first appearance briefly in the prologue session. He was seen chatting with King Daerius Quintus of Krakonia , serving the man a drink, when he was interrupted by Wheezer McGeezer . He complimented the adventurer on his bravery and/or stupidity and sent him to the quest board in the center of the tavern.
