Fyliss Streamwalker
This relatively young Pinnavran adult woman is thin and flexible in appearance, her body accustomed to many years of dancing rhythmically. Her outfit is unassuming, with a simple brown tunic for her adventuring gear. She has an Arbiter's Mark depicting the Black Kraken on her left ear fin. She often has a calm smile on her face as she hums to herself while she works.
Fyliss Streamwalker is a native to Requerm, having been born somewhat before the events of The Dawn . As a young woman, she met the legendary Harbingers of the Rising Dawn . Bored of her life in her tribe, she decided to join the party as a guide to Requerm for these confused foreigners, but due to her lax Pinnavran way of life, she didn't really do much actual guiding, simply using her status as a native as an excuse to tag along with these adventurers. Her main use in the party was as a healer, due to her extensive knowledge of natural herbs in Requerm and her divine connection to nature. Her tribe did not have a tradition of using surnames, so for the sake of adapting to her new culture of adventurers, she took on the name of Streamwalker, because following the streams was her way of life, and therefore kind of a job, in a way.
Streamwalker was happy to follow the party from the time they met to the founding of Krakonia City , learning more about Requerm than she ever thought possible. Eventually, however, she had to disband from the Harbingers when they started discussing war. She had no interest in war, and chose instead to leave the party and start her own shop, Marlin Medleys , in Krakonia City selling various herbs, concoctions, potions, food, and drinks.
Her life has remained relatively stable since starting her shop, having the full support of her old adventuring friends who eventually went from being the leaders of a small town to that of a sprawling kingdom. She enjoys making her potions, drinks, soups, and other concoctions, but does not adhere much to an actual schedule, spending much of her time wandering the nearby lands to pass the time. Because of this behavior, she's had to hire several non-pinnavran employees to watch the shop while she's drifting around, and it's considered a treat from the locals to obtain food and drink cooked by Streamwalker herself while she's in town, even though her employees are trained to make the same recipes without her assistance. Part of this is due to the prestige she obtained by being a former Harbinger of the Rising Dawn, even though she had nothing to do with the war and doesn't have any official government position. Regardless, she has obtained celebrity status, although she rarely, if ever, uses that status to her advantage.
