CC:Session19: Smoked Out Report
General Summary
After fining the Couatl, Carbide and Vox headed to meet with Ichtaca.
Left without adult supervision, Boots and Mellow decided to search for Titus Orman. Unsure of the best way to find him, they remembered that Chris Cromwell was the last person to see him. To summon the spirit of Chris, they decided to track down a raccoon.
After an hour of searching the streets, they found a raccoon and Mellow trapped in an alley. Unfortunately, Nugget charged and killed the defenseless creature. Convinced that the corpse might be enough, they spent about an hour beating trash cans with a stick. Sadly, beating a dead raccoon did not summon a spirit from another realm.
As Otto Keisler began to address their odd behavior, the group decided to stop by a nearby herb and incense store. In which they met Signal, a technomancer who had watched them through the window for over an hour. The Agitators explained that they wanted to resurrect the dead raccoon to try to summon their friend. Signal explained that they could travel to a nearby place, The Black Lab of Horus , and channel powerful magical energies there.
Collectively, the group broke into the territory of Hadescorp and explored the dark laboratory. Unfortunately, the ritual circle was missing a keystone. Looking deeper into the dungeon, they discovered the missing item under the corpse of Aries. As the undead dragon came to life, they snagged it as quickly as possible and ran. Creating walls and any barrier they could, the completed the ritual and resurrected the dead raccoon.
Traveling outside the lab, now with a rambunctious rodent - they happened to run into Chris Cromwell making a feast out of a nearby dumpster. Chris explained that Titus was likely at the last place they all saw him and offered to send them back to The Regeneration Conservatory. Chris opened a tunnel through the city and sent them there.
Inside the collapsed location, they conquered "gators" and met a twisted witch. The woman seemed to have taken Titus prisoner and was using him to entertain children before eating them. Moving quickly, The Agitators killed the hag, saved Titus, and returned him to The Shadowward Nest. The last words he spoke were "I know how to heal those infected by the Seraph"
