CC: Session 10: The Arrival Report
General Summary
With concern over Titus Orman and The Mangler, The Agitators headed to The Regeneration Conservatory. Early into their exploration, they met Frost, a twisted revenant hellbent on revenge against Tano. Agreeing to help release him in exchange for help against Tano, he joined the party.
Despite Frost's calls for immediate vengeance, The Agitators decided to escort C.H.A.P on a quest to find hidden treasure. Despite the little robot almost killing himself at every turn, they successfully collected a large mass of treasure stored in the caves below the consveratory. Heading out of the caverns, they discovered a feeding room. In which, Frost stood over his corpse and relayed how Tano had eaten him alive. Taking a moment to collect themselves, they headed to C.H.A.P.'s camp in search of Mouse.
Discovering that Mouse had headed off in search of another treasure pile, The Agitators let C.H.A.P go and pressed on with Frost. Traveling forward, they discovered their old friend wUHn had been scouting and needed help with a nearby plantoid king (for what he promised were completely honest reasons). Putting a pin in that, Frost was finally brought to his lost love Requiem to break the curse that held him in place.
Moving to attack Requiem, Carbide stood in the way of the two's battle and became marked by Frost's vengeance. Unable to appease both creatures, a battle ensued. Ultimately Frost killed Requiem and broke his curse, but when trying to escape and take his vengeance on Tano-The Agitators cut him down...for now.
Before taking the elevator down to sub-level three, Boots heard whispers from Wish who saught to work together on removing a threat from all Scions together. As a prince, he demanded Boots' help. Unsure of what to do, the party pressed deeper into the dark place.
Reaching the bottom of The Regeneration Conservatory, Axe finally caught up with Spark. She explained that she was able to keep the mangler in place for now, but was concerned about pressing onward. Without the data keys to prevent ancient warriors from the Knights of the Blighted Blade resurrecting, she needed back up. The Agitators decided to avoid taking the fight head-on and instead search for the lost keys.
Returning to wUHn, they saught this "King Boom Boom" who was desperate for the return of the goddess statue. Traveling behind a hidden wall, Vox and Boots killed the mischievous dragons and took their final egg while Carbide returned the "statue" to the king. Despite wUHn's desire to replace the king, he was directed to scout out Tagera HQ. Grateful for their assistance, the fungal king rewarded the party with a pass key and a boat that would allow the party to traverse the rivers in The Regeneration Conservatory.
