The Province of Kum-Rort
The Province of Kum-Rort, serving as the Emperor's personal domain, holds a prominent position within the heart of the Empire of Feódaal. Bordered by Laffeg to the west, Kas-Yurb to the north, Kas-Murb to the east, and Goa-Twe to the south, Kum-Rort is a central node that connects various key regions of the empire.
The province boasts a varied landscape that artfully blends elements of the Dragon Horn Mountains, the dense Forest of VerRaea, and the expansive grasslands of the Eastern Expanse. This diversity in geography not only enriches the province's natural beauty but also contributes to its strategic significance and resource availability.
At the center of Kum-Rort lies the imperial capital, also named Kum-Rort, strategically positioned along the VerAaxznt River. This river is a vital artery for trade and communication within the empire, enhancing the capital's connectivity and influence. As the seat of imperial power, Kum-Rort is the political and cultural heart of the empire, where the emperor exercises direct authority and oversees the governance of Feódaal.
Kum-Rort exemplifies the emperor's vision of unity and prosperity, symbolizing the harmonious convergence of diverse landscapes and cultures. It remains a testament to the empire's enduring strength and stability, embodying the dynamic and interconnected nature of its provinces.
Structure
The Province of Kum-Rort is organized around a multi-tiered system that blends civilian governance with a parallel military structure, all ultimately under the oversight of the Emperor.
At the pinnacle sits the Emperor, who personally leads Kum-Rort as the capital province of the Empire. In his broader administration, the Emperor directly oversees the strategic military operations through the Shogun, the elite military cadre charged with broader imperial defense and directives.
Within the province itself, the administrative hierarchy is divided by the significance of each settlement. In the capital, Kum-Rort, a leader known as the Bó is appointed every second year by the Emperor from among one of the seven leaders of the lesser noble-house based in the city. The Bó is responsible for the city's governance and local security and commands the Samurai, the well-trained military force dedicated to maintaining order and enforcing the policies of the capital.
The province’s minor cities are governed by nobles known as Zǐ, who manage local affairs and civic issues. These Zǐ in turn command the Ro-Shìbīng, a military force tailored to respond to the challenges and defense needs of these urban centers.
At the grassroots level, individual villages fall under the administration of the lesser nobles referred to as Nán. Each Nán oversees village affairs, ensuring the local population’s welfare and stability, and is responsible for commanding the Ch-Shìbīng, a more rugged military contingent tasked with village-level protection.
This structured hierarchy ensures that each level of Kum-Rort’s society, from villages to the capital, maintains a balance between civil order and military readiness, all under the unified command of the Emperor and his military advisors.
