Teutan Ice Drakkar
In times of war, the Teutan Ice Drakkar's is primarily used as the lead ships when the Teuta assembly large fleets. With a length of 45 meters the Drakkar's are larger that average ships and can carry 220 warriors. Equipped with a large ram, these ships are used to break up large ice patches so the rest of the fleet can follow. With the increase in weight, of the 80 rowers needed to propel the ship, 30 Alkejo Weis are needed. In naval battles, Ice Drakka's often will ram the enemy's lead ship in an attempts to quickly end a battle. Because of the ships large size they are mainly used to transport people and materials back and forth between Antauustret and the Frozen. Few Áki te Tueta's have called for the Drakka's to be used in battle. Many believe that these ships should only be used when it is unknown weather or knot the Teuta can win.
Propulsion
The ship has 40 rows of oars per side. The first, middle and last five oars on each side are larger than average oars that are used so that Alkejo Weis help propel the ship. Alongside the 80 oars, the ship carry's a large sail that also helps propel the ship.
Weapons & Armament
Outside of what the warriors on board the ship carry, the ship have no mounted weapons.
Armor and defense
While the ship is mainly constructed out of wood. There are sections of metal armor plates to help protect the rower. Also at the front of the ship there is a metal ram that allows the ship to move through thick layers of ice with ease. Above this ram at the head of the ship are owls that are carved to help guide the crews.
