House Beaumont

House Beaumont is the largest sea faring house within The Order. For many years their fleet has protected the eastern waterways and coast against foreign invaders and pirates. The family originates from Aps Merlece but was granted the Territory of Ajastia and its fleet after House Capela was discovered to be shipping weapons to the Kingdom of Ossenia. When The Order overthrew the Kingdom of Frontonce the house ordered the fleets to stand down allow the coup d'état. For their actions they were granted the title of the Steward's of the East.

Territories

Ajastia

Ajastia is the largest city within the Eastern Protectorate. The city was the original capital of the Principality of Regnis. After the war the city was renamed Ajastia and the Protectorate was granted to House Capela. Much of the cultural landmarks from the Principality were destroyed and replaced with war monuments. However some time around 68 BEM, members of House Capela were arrested and exicuted for supplying weapons to the Kingdom of Ossenia. The Eastern Protectorate was then granted to House Beaumont.

Aps Elonce

The port city of Aps Elonce is well known for its Crayfish. South of the city are a set of islands that are home to waters filled with the Crayfish. Every years several festivals are help where nobles and commoners alike flock to so they can partake in the delicacy.

Marlont

During the reign of the Priniclpality of Regnis, the former city of Porvera was a trade hub that connected the northern settlements to their southern neighbors.

Saint Matthias

The island city of Saint Matthias was built in 9 EM as a gift from House Beamont to Saint Matthias the Shield of Man. The city is home to 2,000 residents and the only church dedicated to Saint Matthias.

Worship

Unknown to the Order, House Beaumont has long held its traditions towards the Old Gods. While the family takes part in celebration towards the New Gods to save face, many of the cities and towns in their territory hold quite celebrations throughout the year. At the start of each fishing season, a sacrifice will be made to the Goddess of the Sea's to ensure a plentiful season. Many of the Merchants will offer prayers to the Goddess for safe passage.
