Heart of the Mountain
Its said that within each mountain of the world lies a heart made of stone. These stones are the beating heart of the mountain and are considered sacred by many. As dwarves and elves dug deep into the mountains they build a shrine to the heart so that it may offer them prosperity and safety below the earth. Many dwarves and elves will not enter a mountain if they do not know if a shrine has been built within it.

Among those who dwell in the mountains there are rumors that several hearts out within the world.Heart of White Stone
The heart of White Stone is said to be held by the King of the Veran. To the Veran one can not be King unless they control the heart of the mountains. Over they years many have tried to put forth false claims that they posses the true heart, but to this day the heart remains embedder in the hammer of the King of the Veran.Heart of the Sun
The Heart of the Sun was said to be deep within the heart of the Red Spires. Centuries ago, Sawelsus the Bringer of the Sun was said to have eaten the heart of the mountain and made his home at its peak. It was not until the first Red Emperor slayed Sawelsus and took the heart for himself. The heart now lies at the center of the Palace of the Red Emperor.Heart of the Moon
Far to the North in the Spring Isles, the Heart of the Moon is said to be held by the Divine King of Moon. Legend tells that when the Mahri came to the Spring Isles they first built shrines to Louksus to grant them protection in the new land. When night came, its said that louksus brought the tribes cheif the Heart of the Moon and bestowed upon him the title, Divine King of the Moon.Heart of Vannadal
Along the coast of the Eperom Ocean, where the Claw of Valaros bashes the land with devastating storms lies the Vannadal Mountains. At the western end of the mountains, the Blood of Ulfursson made their home. To protect themselves from these storms they dug into the mountains, during this time they found the heart of the mountain. Its said the heart is given to the oldest of the Ulfursson's to offer them wisdom and guidance.History
Many a story is told then when Ammsa created the world she left her heart in everything she created. When she pulled the ground high into the sky and created the mountains she left a piece of herself behind deep in the mountains depths. Her heart beating deep within all beings would lead to their prosperity and protection.
