Crusader
The pillars holding the Albor Corporation in place, Crusaders fight to defend the faction and its values against any and all threats.
Every member of the corporation is expected to become a crusader, or at least begin training. Exceptions such as Suno Aureal are very rare, and are still required to know how to defend themselves.
Career
Qualifications
Crusaders of most ranks don heavy armor and are extensively trained in first aid and the use of the sword. While shooting and mounted combat are secondary skills to them, they do count with ranged weapons that they must know how to operate, and equites to move around that they usually dismount before battle.
Career Progression
Crusaders begin their careers as squires training under the supervision of a knight. Six years later, upon passing a test known as "The Seven Points" (which signifies proficiency in all Albor virtues), they are finally knighted by the mentor knights themselves, or by the kaiser, by gently tapping them on both shoulders and the head with a sword.
Knights may further train and specialize to become templars or cabalists under a deacon, and later maybe become deacons themselves.
At any point, members of their cadre may vote a crusader to become their chaplain, or commanding officer. Distinguished chaplains mey also be selected by the College of Cardinals to become bishops, the highest military rank attainable.
If a crusader managed to be elected kaiser of the corporation they will, of course, inmediately rise to the top of the command structure.
