The Great River Basin
Even after the war, after the plagues, the storms and the earth ripping itself apart to try and get rid of humanity, humanity endured. Survived. And started to rebuild.
Most of these societies, driven by a mistrust of the industry and technology that they identified as the causes of the apocalypse, completely rejected digital sciences and turned to the old ways. Some are still very advanced, as they found ways to get around the absence of computers.
A group of them, however, kept their eyes trained in the future and the promise of progress. Four small settlements allied under the direction of the Digital Conclave and established a nation that looks ONLY forward, disregarding any notion of tradition and respect for nature; as opposed to the surrounding Analogic Civilizations that seek to preserve the past.
Conflict threatens to end humanity once again. Tribal drums and electric synths alike spell songs of war. Even among the Conclave and the Civilizations, internal factions struggle for power and influence.
Only unity will save us.
