The Veiled Lady

The patron of the Witcher Order. Not much is known of The Veiled Lady, which seems to be part of the mystique that surrounds her. She is said to always be clad in white robes wich conceals her face, hence her name, and a dim light that always radiates from here, although since only the highest ranking members ever gets to see her, this in not commonly known.
Appears as a bright divine being, however she is a in reality a lich who is a master of both necromancy and illusion. Once the lover of another lich, Myriil, she was betrayed and now has an eternal rivalry with him. They share a phylactery making their souls tied and so, if one is killed, so is the other. Over the years in company with the elves of the Witcher Order, especially Etheelia, and through defiance of the evil nature of Myriil, The Veiled Lady has become more aligned towards good. As one of the results of this, she refuses to create any more undead, instead she uses her order to hunt down existing undead and enslaving them to her will.
