Silria

We are power, we are truth, we are holy, we are Silria
— Nationalist Chant
Reaching the western side of Ularr's Inner Islands Silria is currently the tundra world's most powerful nation. It is run by a fundamentalist Yatyanist Church and recently has conquested in the name of their god against the other nations.

Terrirory

Silria has power over 3 islands; Silrana, which hold its capital, Uslana, an island rich in coal and gold, and Harana, a recent acquisition from Nastar that holds Ularr's most extensive know oil reservoir.

Silrana

The heart of Silria. The Island of Silrana holds Ularr's second tallest mountain range, the Kloilars. These mountains are of great spiritual importance as they hold, Ulisilvala, the holy valley and supposed burial place of Loska Heitshi, the mythical prophet of the West. Ulisilvala opens into the SajÅ«t tundra where the capital of Silra, Kalasag. This city is defined by Graynald Cathedral, the gilded temple at the city center and the home of the Council of Saints.

Uslana

Silria's industrial center, Froglaj, is the only city on Uslana. Alongside the city is the Hyjilars an unassuming but mineral-rich mountain range. Uslana's tundra, UsljÅ«t, is home to a large population of Land Whales which are cherished as a national treasure.

Haralana

After a bloody land war between Nastar and Silria, the island of Haralana fell under Silrian control. More importantly, they gained access to the area's oil reserves and refineries. Hara city itself has changed hands more than the land around it. The actual population of Hara has gone through many occupations from both Silria and Nastar, as well as internal tyranny from crime families and corrupt leaders. Politics within the city are cut-throat and ever-shifting, but everyone in the city hates the foreign powers that grab at their resources.

Structure

Silria is run by The Council of Five. These five figures are the highest members of the Yatyanist clergy. They are mysterious and distant and are never seen in public without their massive ornate ceremonial masks. They run the country through the Minister Elect, a governor of the state that is elected by a court of Silira nobles and lower clergymen (The Holy Court), and the Lord General, the commander in chief of the military that is directly appointed by the Five.   The Minister Elect and the Holy Court create laws, while the Lord General governs the military which includes all law enforcement. Silrian police are heavily militarized given that they are just another wing of the armed forces. All trials are done by a military tribunal if done at all.
