The Boven Warstate
Structure
The majority of the power within the state rests with Gargax, the 11th child, while in turn he gives his orders to the four representatives of the tribes of Boven, who help carry out his orders. While he makes all the big decisions, the four representatives are allowed a decent amount of autonomy when it comes to their respective peoples.
Public Agenda
Currently, Gargax is focused on developing his military might, through development of military ideas and technology along with new and powerful units, but also increasing the overall prosperity of the state through agriculture, as of now they still rely on food and other industry from other states.
Assets
Boven's main assets are that of its incredibly powerful military built off the foundation of the four tribes of the savannah, who each have their own exceptional combat traditions. Thus, it has the arguably most powerful military of all the states due to its diversity in its abilities. This, along with powerful units such as the Wyvern knights, as made it a threat to be reckoned with.
History
When the Golden Dragon died, all 13 of the children rode to their home states. In Gargax's case, he turned to Boven, uniting his people behind him, and promising to reconquer their glorious empire and reuniting all peoples. The title of Warstate was quickly earned, as it quickly expanded its influence outwards and quickly conquered a lot of territory. Since the war has ended however, despite the large gain of land, much was not very useful or cultivated, so food was low for the state. As such, they had to make deals with other states to feed their people, and so entered trade deals where they were forced to play nice, trading for goods for the price of their military to help protect the key trade routes for the continent. As his sibling's eyes turn to the golden frontier, Gargax prepares his military to take advantage of their pulled away eyes.
Demography and Population
Boven is in the very centre of the empire, in the great savannahs of the four tribes, and as such has a strong mix of peoples. Draken make up the largest group of the population, about 40% of it. The four tribes are about equal percentage, Urkur 25%, Daerlman 20%, Falin 10%, and Orgor make up about 5%. As time has passed since the great wild lands, the populations have become much more dispersed around the whole place, but the tribes are still primarily in their old territories.
Military
Boven has perhaps the strongest military of all the 13 states, its soldiers are disciplined and heavily trained in various techniques and disciplines, making even a single grunt a capable warrior. On top of this, their armies are quite diverse thanks to the various races that join the army. They are able to fulfill a variety of roles, with units for nearly every situation, from shock troops, to mobile ranged units.
Foreign Relations
Boven has a large number of treaties with other nations, primarily focused on receiving important recourses such as food or metal, while in return lending its military power to other nations. Tension is however growing on the borders, as many independent tribes and bands sometimes raid neighboring states.
Agriculture & Industry
Much of Boven's lands are undeveloped and not good for agriculture, and along with this has a lack of a natural resources. As such, it needs to import a lot of its goods, with a lot of the state's economic effort focused on its development of land. It does however still have cities in major trade routes, so they still have that benefit, and thus have easy ability to import and export everything.
